01 — ABOUT PEPS4HER
What are research peptides?
Research peptides are peptide compounds supplied for legitimate scientific and laboratory research. For an introduction to peptide science, visit Peptide Education.
Are Peps4Her products for human or veterinary use?
No. Our products are supplied strictly for research purposes and are not intended for human or veterinary consumption or administration.
Who can purchase from Peps4Her?
Our products are supplied strictly in accordance with their stated intended use and applicable UK laws and regulations.
Where products are supplied for legitimate research purposes, they are not intended for human consumption, self-administration, diagnosis or treatment of medical conditions.
Peps4Her does not provide prescriptions, diagnose medical conditions or replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their purchase and use of any product complies with the laws applicable to them.
If you are unsure whether a product is appropriate or lawful for your intended purpose, please seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional before purchasing.
02 — QUALITY & TESTING
Do you provide Certificates of Analysis?
Yes, customers can request a Certificate of Analysis for the batch associated with their purchased vial. Simply provide your batch code when contacting us.
What testing methods are used?
Peptide batches may undergo analytical testing such as HPLC (purity) and mass spectrometry (identity/molecular mass), with additional testing performed where applicable.
A Certificate of Analysis (CoA) records the results of the testing performed on the relevant batch. Customers can request the available CoA using the batch/lot code shown on their vial or packaging.
Are CoAs batch-specific?
Yes. When a batch is tested, it is assigned a unique code. Each vial can be traced to its batch and certificate using this information.
Does purity mean sterility?
No. Purity and sterility are different analytical questions. A purity result does not establish sterility.
Does a CoA prove a product is safe or effective for humans?
No. Analytical documentation can provide information about a tested sample and its characteristics, but it does not establish human safety, clinical efficacy or therapeutic suitability.
03 — PRODUCT & STORAGE
Why can lyophilised peptides look different?
Appearance can vary depending on formulation, drying and handling. Visual appearance alone cannot establish identity or purity.
How should products be stored?
Follow the storage information supplied for the specific product or batch. Avoid unnecessary exposure to unsuitable environmental conditions.
What is your shelf-life or retest policy?
Products are supplied with the manufacturer’s stated shelf life/expiry information, where applicable. Peps4Her does not routinely retest products after the original batch testing.
Customers can request the Certificate of Analysis (CoA) for their batch using the batch/lot code on their vial or packaging. If you wish to conduct additional independent testing, you are welcome to arrange testing with an appropriately qualified third-party laboratory at your own expense.
