PRODUCT USE RESTRICTIONS

1. Research Use Only

All peptide products and other research materials supplied through this website (“Products”) are sold strictly for laboratory, analytical, educational and scientific research purposes only.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Products are not medicines, medicinal products, medical devices, foods, food supplements, cosmetics or consumer healthcare products and are not supplied or intended for therapeutic, diagnostic or veterinary use.

Products are NOT intended for human or animal consumption or administration.

Products must not be:

• consumed, ingested or swallowed;
• injected, infused or otherwise administered to a human or animal;
• inhaled or insufflated;
• applied to the human body;
• used for the diagnosis, treatment, prevention or cure of any disease or medical condition;
• used for bodybuilding, weight management, performance enhancement, cosmetic enhancement or any other physiological purpose;
• incorporated into any food, drink, medicine, supplement or cosmetic intended for human or animal use; or
• resold, supplied or represented as suitable for any of the above purposes.

Any references on this website to published scientific research, biochemical mechanisms, receptors, pathways or experimental findings are provided for research and informational purposes only and must not be interpreted as medical advice, treatment recommendations or instructions for human or veterinary use.

2. Purchaser Responsibility

By purchasing Products from us, you confirm that you understand their research-only status and accept responsibility for ensuring that your purchase, possession, storage, handling, use and disposal of the Products complies with all laws and regulations applicable to you.

You are responsible for determining whether you possess the knowledge, facilities, equipment and procedures necessary to handle the Products safely.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably believe that a Product is being purchased for a prohibited purpose, including human or animal administration.

We may also refuse future orders from customers who we reasonably believe have breached these Product Use Restrictions.

3. No Medical Advice

Nothing contained on this website, including product descriptions, scientific information, articles, research summaries, customer communications or other materials, constitutes medical, pharmaceutical or veterinary advice.

We do not provide advice regarding human administration, dosing, injection, reconstitution for administration, treatment protocols or therapeutic use of Products.

Customers must not rely upon information provided by us as a substitute for professional medical or veterinary advice.

4. Product Information and Research Data

Research compounds may have limited scientific literature available and their properties may not have been fully characterised.

Where information concerning molecular properties, purity, analytical testing, stability, storage or other characteristics is provided, that information relates to the Product as a research material and does not establish that the Product is safe, effective or suitable for administration to humans or animals.

Certificates of Analysis, laboratory results and purity information relate only to the characteristics tested and must not be interpreted as evidence that a Product is safe or approved for human or animal use.

5. Storage and Handling

Customers are responsible for appropriate storage, handling, transportation after delivery and disposal of Products.

Any storage information supplied by us is intended to assist in maintaining the integrity of the Product for research purposes.

We cannot guarantee Product integrity where Products have been improperly stored, handled, contaminated, reconstituted, transferred, modified or otherwise altered after delivery.

6. Prohibited Resale and Representation

Customers must not resell, advertise, distribute or otherwise represent Products purchased from us as medicines, treatments, supplements or products suitable for human or animal consumption or administration.

Nothing in our branding, packaging, laboratory documentation or website content grants permission for Products to be marketed for a purpose other than their stated research purpose.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

7. Misuse of Products

Products are supplied subject to the Product Use Restrictions above.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be responsible for losses arising from the deliberate use of a Product contrary to those restrictions, including unauthorised human or animal administration, consumption or other misuse.

Customers are responsible for their own acts and omissions in relation to the possession, handling and use of Products after delivery.

8. Indirect and Consequential Loss

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the purchase or permitted research use of Products, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, anticipated savings, research data or interruption to business.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful.

9. Liability That Cannot Be Excluded

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

(a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence;

(b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

(c) any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

10. Maximum Liability

Subject to Clause 9 and to the extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with a particular order shall not exceed the amount paid to us for the Product or Products giving rise to the claim.

This limitation does not apply where applicable law prevents such liability from being limited.

11. Customer Indemnity

Where legally enforceable, you agree to indemnify us against reasonable losses, liabilities, costs and expenses arising directly from your unlawful resale, distribution, representation or deliberate misuse of Products contrary to these Terms.

This provision does not require you to indemnify us for losses resulting from our own negligence, breach of law or other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Compliance With Law

Products may be subject to different regulatory requirements depending upon their composition, classification, destination and intended use.

It is the customer’s responsibility to determine whether they may lawfully purchase, possess, import, export, store or use a Product in their jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to restrict sales of particular Products or refuse orders where reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, safety or compliance reasons.

13. No Circumvention of Medicines Regulation

Products sold as research materials must not be purchased or used for the purpose of circumventing medicines, pharmaceutical, veterinary, food, cosmetic or other applicable regulatory requirements.

The designation of a Product as “Research Use Only” does not authorise any use which would otherwise be prohibited by law.
