Safety Information

RESEARCH USE ONLY

Important: All Peps4her products are supplied strictly for research purposes only.

Our products are intended for legitimate scientific and laboratory research and are not intended for human or animal use, consumption, diagnosis, treatment or prevention of disease.

We have created this guide to make responsible research handling information clear and accessible. Select a section below to expand it.

1. Research Use Only — Important Notice

All Peps4her products are supplied strictly for legitimate scientific and laboratory research purposes only. They are intended as research materials and are not medicines, supplements, foods or cosmetics.

They are not intended for human or animal use, consumption, diagnosis, treatment or prevention of disease. Peps4her does not provide dosing, administration or medical-use guidance.

By purchasing research material, you are responsible for ensuring that your intended research use complies with applicable laws, regulations and your own laboratory or institutional requirements.

2. Check Your Vial on Arrival

Inspect your order before storing or handling the material. Check the product name, batch or lot information, stated quantity, label and packaging against your order.

Check that the vial, cap, stopper and seal appear intact and that there is no visible leakage, damage or evidence of tampering.

If anything appears incorrect, damaged or compromised, do not proceed with the material. Keep the packaging and contact Peps4her with photographs and the relevant batch or order information.

3. Understanding the Appearance of Lyophilised Peptides

Lyophilised (freeze-dried) research peptides may appear as a white or off-white powder, cake or thin film depending on the compound and manufacturing process.

Do not assume that a particular colour or physical appearance alone proves purity, identity, sterility or quality. The expected specification can vary between compounds.

Unexpected discolouration, visible foreign material, unexplained moisture, unusual residue or a visibly compromised vial should be treated as a reason to stop and investigate before the material is used for research.

4. Storage

Follow the storage conditions supplied for the specific product and batch. Storage requirements can differ between research materials.

  • Keep sealed material under the stated storage conditions.
  • Protect from light where specified.
  • Protect from moisture and unnecessary exposure to the environment.
  • Avoid unnecessary temperature fluctuations.
  • Minimise repeated freeze-thaw exposure where applicable.
  • Keep research materials away from children, animals and unauthorised persons.
  • Do not store research materials alongside food or personal medication.

If you are unsure whether a storage condition has been maintained, contact Peps4her before proceeding.

5. Shelf Life & Expiry

Shelf life depends on the material, its physical state and the storage conditions

A sealed lyophilised material may have a different stability profile from material that has been opened or otherwise prepared for laboratory work. Do not assume that an original shelf-life statement automatically applies after opening or preparation.

If the expiry or retest information is missing, unclear or has passed, contact Peps4her before using the material for research.

6. Clean & Controlled Research Environment

Research materials should be handled in an appropriate, clean and controlled laboratory environment using suitable laboratory procedures.

  • Keep work surfaces clean and organised.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment for the research activity.
  • Use clean, appropriate laboratory equipment and consumables.
  • Keep containers closed when not being handled.
  • Minimise unnecessary exposure of materials to the surrounding environment.
  • Take reasonable precautions to prevent cross-contamination between research materials.
  • Follow your laboratory's applicable standard operating procedures.
7. Sharps & Waste Disposal

Where laboratory research involves needles, blades or other sharps, use appropriate laboratory sharps procedures and suitable approved sharps containers.

  • Dispose of used sharps promptly into an appropriate sharps container.
  • Never place loose sharps into household waste.
  • Do not overfill sharps containers.
  • Handle contaminated laboratory waste according to the applicable waste procedures for your facility.
  • Follow your institution's requirements for collection and disposal of laboratory or clinical waste.

Peps4her does not provide instructions for administration or use of research materials in people or animals.

8. Requesting a Certificate of Analysis

Every batch is assigned a unique batch/lot code. Customers can request the corresponding testing documentation for the batch associated with their purchased vial. Simply provide your batch code when contacting us.

A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is a document describing analytical testing performed on a particular batch.

Depending on the testing performed, a COA may contain information such as identity testing, purity results, analytical methods, test dates and laboratory details.

A COA is evidence of the testing reported for that batch. It is not evidence that a product is authorised as a medicine, clinically effective, suitable for human or veterinary use, sterile for administration or free from every possible contaminant.

We believe customers should be able to understand what they are purchasing and have access to relevant quality information — not simply take our word for it.

Your vial. Your batch. Your documentation.

9. Purity, Identity & What Testing Can — and Can't — Tell You

A stated purity percentage is only one part of research-material quality assessment. The meaning of a purity figure depends on the analytical method and the specification being measured.

Purity testing does not, by itself, establish clinical safety, therapeutic effectiveness, sterility, suitability for administration or regulatory approval.

For responsible research, consider the available batch documentation alongside product identity, stated specifications, storage history and the requirements of your research protocol or institution.

10. Temperature Excursions

If an order appears to have experienced inappropriate temperature exposure during transport or storage, do not assume that the material is unaffected.

Keep the product and original packaging, record the relevant batch or order information, photograph any visible issue and contact Peps4her for guidance on the specific product.

Temperature history can affect research-material stability even when no visible change is apparent.

11. Receiving & Inspecting Your Order

When your order arrives, take a moment to verify the contents before putting them into storage.

  • Confirm the product name and quantity.
  • Check the vial label and batch or lot information.
  • Inspect the seal and packaging.
  • Check the material's appearance against the applicable product specification.
  • Review any accompanying documentation, including storage information and batch documentation where supplied.
  • Store the material according to the stated conditions.

If your order does not match what you purchased, contact Peps4her before proceeding.

12. Responsible Research Handling

Research materials should only be handled by people who understand the relevant laboratory procedures, hazards and applicable requirements for the work being undertaken.

Researchers are responsible for maintaining appropriate records, following their laboratory or institutional procedures and ensuring that the material is used only for legitimate research purposes.

Peps4her can provide information about the product, documentation, storage and order supplied. We do not provide instructions for human or veterinary use, dosing or administration.

13. When in Doubt, Stop & Contact Us

If something does not look right, do not guess and do not proceed until the issue has been investigated.

Contact Peps4her if you encounter a damaged seal, unexpected appearance, missing or inconsistent labelling, missing documentation, suspected contamination, inappropriate storage or unexplained temperature exposure.

When contacting us, include your order number and batch or lot information and, where relevant, photographs of the vial and packaging. This helps us identify the material and investigate the issue efficiently.
